This safari focuses on the peak wildebeest calving season in the Ndutu area of Tanzania, typically between January and March each year. This is when the massive herds congregate on the short-grass plains of the southern Serengeti and the Ndutu area to give birth. It is the absolute busiest time, with thousands of wildebeest born daily. The abundance of vulnerable young attracts a high concentration of predators, including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, making for dramatic wildlife viewing.
